Plenty of people are getting ready to tackle the rugged northern Ontario bush this weekend.  The Opus Lost in the Rocks and Trees Mountain Bike Race takes place outside of Mattawa Saturday. Lead Organizer Dr Nick Green says there are 3 courses,  including 30, 62 and 112 kilometres on the Voyageur Multi-use trails.  North Rider’s Christian Prost will be taking part in the race for the first time this year.  He’s helped out at checkpoints in previous years and says there’s no shortage of interesting stories — with plenty of wildlife and riders covered in mud from head to toe and others having to drop out of the race.  Last year 120 people took part in the event and officials expect over 100 this year.  Registration can be done right up until the race on site and online.
