17 Employees Impacted by Workforce Reduction
A workforce reduction has taken place at Atlas Copco in North Bay, impacting 17 employees. Acting General Manager Daniel Misiano who says the move impacts the production workforce. He says the reason is global conditions in the marketplace but says the goal is to see how fast they can re-hire the impacted workers. After the announcement, Atlas Copco now has a workforce of 113 employees in the North Bay area. The local operation manufactures exploration and mining products.
