The Harper Government has announced a new infrastructure program. It’s called the Community Infrastructure Improvement Fund. MP Jay Aspin says communities are encouraged to apply for some of that money. He says there is 150 million dollars overall over the next two years and 49 million for Ontario projects. He says this stimulus funding is less than the previous allotment announced in 2008. He says area municipalities have been made aware of the new program. Aspin says it will be administered by FedDev Ontario.
