West Nipissing Police now have two offices one in Sturgeon Falls and now one in Verner. Chief Chuck Seguin says officers working out of the new Verner office will be able to do reports and meet with community members and he says community members won’t have to go to Sturgeon to meet with police. He says they serve quiet a wide area  Infact, Seguin says they cover a thousand kilometres of roadway and this additional office gives the service an extra bit of community outreach. He says the new office also serves as another site for 911 service in the event the Sturgeon office has to be evacuated.
