North Bay City Hall is shuffling around some of its staff. Deputy Mayor Peter Chirico has tendered his resignation to City Council and his current employer to become the City’s new Managing Director of Community Services. He replaces Jerry Knox, who will take on the role of CAO the end of July. Chirico says after 12 years as a councillor, it was time to move on. This will be made official at City Council’s next meeting on June 4th. Meanwhile, this move means there is an empty seat at Council’s table, which will be filled by Sarah Campbell, who finished 11th in the last municipal election. Councillor Sean Lawlor moves up to Deputy Mayor and Councillor Dave Mendicino becomes a Committee Chair.
