Murder Trial For Former Area Woman Begins
The trial of a former Mattawa resident charged with second degree murder in the stabbing death of her husband a decade ago is now underway. Jury selection began in North Bay on Monday in the trial of 55-year-old Marieanne Minor. She is accused of stabbing her 46-year-old husband Robert to death. Robert Minor’s body was found on January 11th, 2002, but the charge against his wife wasn’t laid until 2010.
