This years Mayor’s Gala will be held on June 2nd at the Clarion. Organizers from the Rotary Club of North Bay hope to raise 125 thousand dollars for a children’s water park at the Community Waterfront Friends development. Dr Rod Johnston is with CWF. He says the park is just one project they’re planning for children as they’re also planning a miniature village similar to the carousel and the mini train with a small admission fee. The cost of tickets to the gala are 150 dollars each. Mayor Al McDonald says the CWF development is great for the city as it will connect the downtown to the waterfront.
