Five classic guitars have been stolen from Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers’ West Los Angeles rehearsal studio. The band is offering a $7,500 reward promising that “no questions” will be asked.  The guitars include Petty’s 1967 12-string Rickenbacker and his Gibson SG TV Junior, Ron Blair’s Fender Broadcaster, Scott Thurston’s 1967 Epiphone Sheridan, and Mike Campbell’s blue Dusenberg, which was built for Campbell to commemorate the band’s 30th anniversary.

Van Halen has just released a music video for “She’s The Woman,” the official second single from the band’s new album A Different Kind Of Truth. The clip is a combination of rehearsal and live footage, while the song is one of several on the new disc that was resurrected from the band’s vaults and retooled for the new album. The original version of “She’s The Woman” first appeared on a demo in 1976 that was produced by Kiss bassist Gene Simmons.

And Courtney Love is one bat s*** crazy woman.   She’s once again taken to her Twitter account and this time she issued a public apology to her 19 year old daughter after making allegations that Dave Grohl hit on her.  Frances Bean issued a statement last week responding to the allegation. She said: “While I’m generally silent on the affairs of my biological mother, her recent tirade has taken a gross turn. I have never been approached by Dave Grohl in more than a platonic way. I’m in a monogamous relationship and very happy. Twitter should ban my mother.”  Grohl himself responded with, “Unfortunately Courtney is on another hateful Twitter rant. These new accusations are upsetting, offensive and absolutely untrue.”  On Saturday, Love tweeted: “Bean, sorry I believed the gossip.. Mommy loves you.”

Don’t go anywhere on Sunday night…Fox is going to re-air the pilot to Married . . . with Children as part of its 25th-anniversary celebration on April 22th. That night will also feature an encore of The Simpsons’ 500th episode and then the network’s 25th Anniversary Special.

Back to the Future might have propelled Michael J. Fox to stardom, but he was less than impressed with his own performance in the film.  In a recent interview he said he was exhausted making the movie because he was constantly traveling to and from the set of Family Ties. He recalled, “While we were making it, I thought I sucked in it. I really, truly thought I was terrible. So many times I was practically unconscious because I was so tired. My agent called me in London, where I was doing Family Ties Vacation. He said, ‘I just saw the movie.’ I said, ‘I’m sorry, I’ll do better next time.’ And he said, ‘No, you don’t understand. This is going to be the biggest movie of the summer.’”
