Pearl Jam guitarist Mike McCready is auctioning off a Pearl Jam autographed Gibson Flying V and Vs. vinyl reissue to benefit the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America (CCFA) Team Challenge. The CCFA is a non-profit, volunteer-driven organization dedicated to finding the cure for Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis.

The auction is spearheaded by the Wishlist Foundation, a Pearl Jam fan-based, non-profit, grassroots organization dedicated to supporting Pearl Jam’s charitable and philanthropic goals. The organization’s ongoing mission is to “utilize the collective ability of Pearl Jam fans around the globe to make a difference in the world,” according to the Wishlist Foundation’s mission statement. Find information on both auctions and make a bid on the Wishlist Foundation eBay Page. The brand-new, unused, undamaged Gibson Flying V comes in Faded Cherry and arrives inside a SKB Flying V-Type Hard Shell Guitar Case with a TSA lock. The lucky, high bidder will receive the guitar and the case, plus a letter indicating authenticity.

At press time, the bid was up to a sky-high $7,100. That’s a hefty chunk of coinage, but it’s for a good cause. Besides, a Gibson guitar baring the members of Pearl Jam’s autographs? It doesn’t get much more rocking than that.
