Pink Floyd’s The Wall is headed for the big screen again — but in a much different form. This time around, the tale won’t be based on the band’s classic album, but on the real-life story of the children’s choir that helped make it. Deadline.com reports that producer Andy Harries has optioned the life story of music teacher Alan Renshaw, who was fired for allowing his students to sing on the disc. The flick is described as “Dead Poets Society meets School of Rock.”
