Another month, another crazy lawsuit from Axl Rose. The Guns n’ Roses frontman has sued the makers of Guitar Hero for $20 million for their use of “Welcome to the Jungle” in Guitar Hero Three. Rose claims there was an agreement to use the song for the game, but “Activision breached the contract [because the game] prominently features Slash imagery in direct connection with the use of [the song] and exploits the prior association between Slash and Guns n’ Roses.”
The suit adds that the song “promotes Slash’s and Velvet Revolver‘s separate interests, and includes VR tracks as available downloads, all of which was and is directly contrary to the contractual obligations of the defendants.”
