“Under My Thumb”, “Here Comes the Night”, “Tin Soldier”; I’ve always appreciated how Kenny Shields was able to interpret other people’s work, and, while giving it something of a makeover, was always able to maintain the spirit of the original…it’s integrity intact! This time Kenny has once again put his indelible stamp on a 60s classic, this one a certain “Black is Black” by title. A Spanish band named Los Bravos cut this one back in ’66, about the time Kenny was fronting Witness Inc. (check out this link)
