Stamps vs Riders

I may have missed out on one of Medicine Hat’s best concerts last Thursday when Slash was in town…but I did for a good reason! I was at McMahon Stadium checking out the Saskatchewan Roughrider/Calgary Stampders game. Lyle Bauer–the President and COO of the Stamps hooked me up with sweet tickets on the 50 yard line and I got to bring my man Sean to his very first CFL game. We had a blast at the game…even though my Riders lost in overtime.

I’m pumped that No Doubt finally released some new music! It’s their first single in 10 years and it’s called Settle Down. No Doubt will release their new album Push And Shove on September 25th.

Also….there’s new GREEN DAY too! Their first single is called “Oh, Love” as the first single from its upcoming triple play of albums, Uno!, Dos! and Tre!. “Oh, Love” is taken from the first of the three discs, Uno!, which is due out on September 25th, to be followed by Dos! on November 13th and Tre! on January 15th.
The three albums are the first non-concept records from the band in more than a decade, following 2004′s American Idiot and 2009′s 21st Century Breakdown.
