You’re excited to get a new bed!! I’m totally that person today. I’m getting a brand new queen size bed today and I’m super excited. I’ve had a double bed my entire life and I can’t wait to have a bigger, comfier bed! I’m also pumped to get new bedding. I’m so lame!

Oh, and of course I have to share my bed with my dog Nala….this is how she hogs the bed all the time!!

I’m still recuperating from my “princess camping adventure” at Rolling Hills Reservoir near Brooks this weekend. I’m not usually one who enjoys camping…I like having a shower, getting a good sleep and staying away from the bugs! However, this weekend I decided to tough it out and spend a day out at Rolling Hills Reservoir—and what a blast it was! Thanks to Amber and her family for making it such an awesome weekend. Amber’s parents brought out their boat and also cooked us a fabulous supper so kudos to them for making it an awesome weekend (even if I did have to sleep in a tent LOL)!

I saw this on Canada AM last week and I had to share! Too cute!

Even though my Riders are 0-2 on the season so far I been very lucky to be given some awesome Rider gear this week.

Poncho bought me this for my birthday:

I installed the light switch cover last night!

AND THEN….Ted from the Medicine Hat Co-op sent this huge package over filled with Rider gear.

Yes, those are Darian’s Dario’s & All Dressler chips!! Plus he threw some beef jerky in there, a Rider hat & Rider coasters! THANKS SO MUCH!

I can’t believe my Vegas trip has come and gone already! It was way back in December that me and my friend Natalie decided we were going to head to Sin City for 5 days. It seemed to take forever for the trip to come and then it was finally here….and now it’s gone. That’s how it happens all the time, right? I guess the good thing is that I’ve got lots of pictures and memories from an amazing vacation!

Some of the highlights for me:

- The FOOD! I ate so much food in Vegas! The service was excellent everywhere we went. One of my favourite places was this restaurant called StripBurger. I highly recommend it if you like burgers and pickle chips!! Yum!

- The gambling: I had no idea I was going to love gambling so much. I think I’m kind of addicted now

- The heat: Yes, it was a little too hot some days (43 degrees!), but I still loved getting a nice tan

I know, I know, I know!! It has been forever since I’ve blogged. *slaps wrists* I’ve been a busy girl! I can’t believe my Vegas trip has come and gone and my birthday is this Wednesday already. Summer is definitely in full swing. Vegas was amazing! I promise to post pictures later this week.

Over the weekend my friends threw me a “pre-birthday” celebration dubbed CASSAPALOOZA. I had an amazing time. We went out to Echo Dale to catch some sun in the afternoon and then headed out to Local Public Eatery for some dinner after. I also may have appeared at one of Med Hat’s bars after…..but I’m not going to dish all the details!
