Well I won’t be sliding behind Glen Cairn Elementary School anytime soon!

During the holidays, I tooks my kids to this little hill behind their school to do a little sledding on a nice winter’s afternoon.

They had a blast, and their laughing got me remembering when I would fly head first down the steepest hill with no regard for my own personal safety.

We made jumps, flew through the air, landing on rocks and careening into fences, it was all part of the deal!

Watching my daughters, I finally broke down, and decided to jump on one of their sleds and slide down the hill for old time’s sake.

On my knees, I gave myself a push and lean over for maximum speed. All the while, my kids were screaming at me from the top of the hill.

When I reached the bottom, I finally heard what my girls were yelling at me, while surrounded by about a dozen other kids and their parents,

‘Daddy, we can see your butt crack!’

We went home after that!

Does anybody read magazines anymore? What with the internet and all, are people flipping through pages or clicking on laptop mouses (mice?)

It turns out people are picking up their favourite mags, and the guys who put them together are using the covers to entice you.

2009 was a year where celebrities like Jennifer Aniston and Lindsey Lohan were photographed sans clothes for the sole purpose of driving sales.

Thanks to online polls, I present to you the sexiest magazine cover of 2009;

This is the July 2009 cover of Bar Refaeli (who? I’ve just been told she is/was dating Leonardo Dicaprio) covered in words from one of Stephen King’s books.

Weird!

Are you drinking too much coffee?

Researchers in Finland say people who drank three to five cups of coffee a day had lower risks of developing Alzheimer’s disease. Another study suggested that drinking more than seven cups of coffee a day can make you more likely to hallucinate.

Health Canada suggests that healthy adults are not at risk for adverse effects from caffeine if they limit their intake to 400 mg per day. That’s like 4 cups.

I’m close to 7 cups a day, which explains why I look so good shirtless when standing in front of a mirror, let the hallucinating begin!
