Justin Bieber might be keen in kick starting his career in Hollywood! But his supporters, who have been waiting to watch him act soon, will be annoyed to know that he will not be essaying the role of billionaire Christian Grey in the movie based on “50 Shades of Grey”.

Rumors that Justin was offered the role of Christian took social networking sites by storm, courtesy his statement in an interview with Jonathan Ross. The Canadian singer had claimed that he was offered a role in film adaptation. Unfortunately, many couldn’t pay attention to what he mentioned immediately after he made that comment. For those who are still unaware, the singer refuted the claim and said, “just kidding.”

All I can say is THANK GOD!!!!! Not a good joke at all. Love JB but even thinking about him playing Mr Grey IS NASTY !!!!! #justnotright

It is true I am one of the BIGGEST Madonna fans on the face of the earth……but I was not very happy with her show in Toronto. Yes true I had moments where I was like YES!!!! That is the great and powerful Madonna. There were also moments when I looked at her on stage saying you don’t always have to push the envelope. YOU ARE MADONNA!! And what was with the guns and blood onstage? If that was the first Madonna show you have ever seen you might have been impressed. For me I felt it was a money GRAB!!! The crowd wanted to hear here old school stuff…….you could tell that she did not care what  her fans wanted. It was all about Madonna!! Don’t get me wrong I still love at her…….just not impressed with the show. The best part want the LIMO ride with Tara and Lisa and a few other friends.

Thanks for all your emails about our rescue puppy Anakin.  He has been with us know for close to a year and WOW has he changed our lives. It sad to think that someone could abuse such an innocent animal. He is doing well but suffers from serve separation anxiety. Your suggestion of using a crate worked very well. At first I had a hard time with it…… but now I truly do understand that it is his safe place.

Anakin now has a new friend BEE. My sister Chrissy got a rescue pup around the same time.   He is the cutest thing and has already started in a few music videos lol. They two get along great…….and my parents treat them both like new grand kids lol     

Our son Luca is now what he calls a “BIG FIVE”.   It feels like just the other day I was changing his diapers. Now he is a big boy and wants to do everything on his own.  He is coming up with the craziest things…….like the other day he asked me if he could have TWO dad’s? When I asked him why he said “Cause the other kids at a school do”lol.  I love the fact that he is growing up and becoming his own person but at the same time I miss when he was just a baby.

The show has been criticized for not having ethnically diverse casts in the past though — so is this season any exception?

Of the 25 guys, only one is black. There are also four contestants from other countries — including a race car driver from the Netherlands, a mushroom farmer from Colombia and a grain merchant from Brazil.

The show was recently sued by two black men who claimed both “The Bachelor” and “The Bachelorette” blocked contestants of color from starring roles.

At the time, Warner Horizon Television released a statement reading:

“We have had various participants of color throughout the series’ history, and the producers have been consistently – and publicly – vocal about seeking diverse candidates for both programs. As always, we continue to seek out participants of color for both ‘The Bachelor’ and ‘The Bachelorette.’”

The new season kicks off May 14.

Rock n’ roll icon and TV and radio pioneer Dick Clark died on Wednesday, April 18th of a heart attack in Santa Monica, California at age 82. The Associated Press reported that Clark’s death came a day after being admitted for an outpatient procedure. Clark, affectionately known as “America’s Oldest Teenager,” is survived by his wife Kari, and his three children Richard Augustus II, Duane, and Cindy. Memorial plans have yet to be announced.

In 2005, Clark returned to his Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rocking’ Eve special after missing the 2004 broadcast, due to a stroke, which forced him to skip his first broadcast in 32 years. Clark was once again back in Times Square this year, along with co-host Ryan Seacrest, to ring in 2012.

Seacrest issued a statement yesterday, saying:

“I am deeply saddened by the loss of my dear friend Dick Clark. He has truly been one of the greatest influences in my life. I idolized him from the start, and I was graced early on in my career with his generous advice and counsel. When I joined his show in 2006, it was a dream come true to work with him every New Year’s Eve for the last six years. He was smart, charming, funny and always a true gentleman. I learned a great deal from him, and I’ll always be indebted to him for his faith and support of me. He was a remarkable host and businessman and left a rich legacy to television audiences around the world. We will all miss him.”

JUSTIN BIEBER GETS HIS DREAM HOME

Justin Bieber is officially a homeowner. According to X17Online, Justin bought a 9,000 square foot estate in a gated community in Calabasas, California. Bieber seems to have gotten a bargain though! The singer paid $6 million for it when it was originally listed for $7.5 million.

The mansion reportedly has a pool, a guest house and ample garage space.

Meanwhile, it seems that Justin’s tour is just around the corner. His manager, Scooter Braun, took to Twitter to tell fans that tickets will be on sale in a month or so. He said, “For everyone asking. Looks like the #BelieveTour tickets will go on sale in May. We are studying MJ for this one. Thanks”

The trailer for Katy Perry’s Part of Me 3D has been released.

Katy Perry and Russell Brand really seem to be having an amicable divorce. In the most recent developments, Russell has reportedly surrendered his interest in the house that he and Katy bought together while they were married.

According to TMZ, Russell gave Katy all the rights to the $6.5 million estate.

Meanwhile, Katy is once again taking part in The Sims experience. The Sims 3: Katy Perry’s Sweet Treats game will be released this June. Players will be able to enter a Perry-inspired “Candyfornia” where their Sims can wear Perry’s clothing and turn their homes into Candyland.

JASON MRAZ HEADED ON TOUR

Jason Mraz is headed out on a worldwide tour. His Tour Is A Four Letter Word Tour will celebrate the upcoming release of his new album, Love Is A Four Letter Word. The album will be released on April 17.

Christina Perri will open for Jason on the North American leg.
The tour will begin  August in New Orleans and will be making a stop in Toronto on September 9th at the Molson Canadian Ampitheater.

ONE DIRECTION TURN DOWN THE FIRST LADY

One Direction and First Lady Michelle Obama reportedly got along really great at the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards however, that doesn’t mean that the boys said yes to everything. Reportedly, the FLOTUS invited the boys to next week’s 134th Annual White House Easter Egg Roll and the boys reportedly declined because they are off to Australia. They did ask for a rain check though!

MADONNA IS FREAKED OUT BY HER WORLD TOUR

Madonna is feeling the heat about returning to the stage. She has reportedly never worked so hard on any of her shows until this tour. She told Britain’s   The Sun, that she is doing all she can to impress her fans.

She said, “I have to say that in more than 25 years of performing I have never worked so hard or been so scrupulous. Or freaked out more than I have at the minute. There’s been lots of cardio and I’m doing a combination of Pilates and dance cardio. And there’s been plenty of skipping rope work. The envelope I’m pushing for is as spectacular a show as I can. It should be a feast for the eyes and ears.”

Madonna also admitted that her kids are her toughest critics. She said, “My kids are brutally honest when it comes to what they don’t like. They have no tact whatsoever. They’ll just say, ‘Mom, get that song off’ even when it is mine. It’s hurtful but at least they’re honest.”

 Meanwhile, Madonna doesn’t need to impress the UK. Her album, MDNA, took over Elvis Presley’s spot as the solo artist with the most Number 1 albums in the UK.

 
ADELE WORKING ON NEW MUSIC

Adele is coming out with new music. According to a French radio station, Adele is going to be coming out with a new song — but a new album won’t be for another two years.

She said, “There will be a new song, probably coming out at the end of the year. But then it depends how quickly I write some other new songs. I never ever expected the success of my first album, let alone how many records has sold. I don’t really feel the pressure for the next record to be big as my last one, as I know it’s not really possible. What’s happened with 21 is very rare, anyway. I have to convince with my songs again and that’s where the pressure comes from. That’s me putting pressure on myself.”

Reportedly, Adele is recording music for the next James Bond movie, Skyfall. Also, she is reportedly part of the music for the 2012 London Olympics.

OPRAH RESPONDS TO ‘OWN’ CRITICISM

Oprah has admitted that she has made a lot of mistakes in launching her network OWN. In an interview with Gayle King and Charlie Rose on CBS’ This Morning, she admitted, “Had I known that it was this difficult, I might have done something else. I didn’t think it was going to be easy, but I did not know. If I knew then what I knew now, I might have made some different choices.”

She added, “If I were writing a book about it, I could call the book ’101 Mistakes.’”

Oprah said that one of the mistakes that she made was that she should have waited until the Oprah show was done before launching the network — saying that they were “launching when we really weren’t ready to launch.”

Despite her issues with the network, she said she feels better about OWN now than she ever has. She explained, “My strategy, our strategy, is to do what we should have done from the beginning that is to build one show, one hour, one night at a time and move to the next night.”
