Justin Bieber might be keen in kick starting his career in Hollywood! But his supporters, who have been waiting to watch him act soon, will be annoyed to know that he will not be essaying the role of billionaire Christian Grey in the movie based on “50 Shades of Grey”.

Rumors that Justin was offered the role of Christian took social networking sites by storm, courtesy his statement in an interview with Jonathan Ross. The Canadian singer had claimed that he was offered a role in film adaptation. Unfortunately, many couldn’t pay attention to what he mentioned immediately after he made that comment. For those who are still unaware, the singer refuted the claim and said, “just kidding.”

All I can say is THANK GOD!!!!! Not a good joke at all. Love JB but even thinking about him playing Mr Grey IS NASTY !!!!! #justnotright

It is true I am one of the BIGGEST Madonna fans on the face of the earth……but I was not very happy with her show in Toronto. Yes true I had moments where I was like YES!!!! That is the great and powerful Madonna. There were also moments when I looked at her on stage saying you don’t always have to push the envelope. YOU ARE MADONNA!! And what was with the guns and blood onstage? If that was the first Madonna show you have ever seen you might have been impressed. For me I felt it was a money GRAB!!! The crowd wanted to hear here old school stuff…….you could tell that she did not care what  her fans wanted. It was all about Madonna!! Don’t get me wrong I still love at her…….just not impressed with the show. The best part want the LIMO ride with Tara and Lisa and a few other friends.

If the photos are any indication, Emily Maynard could have a hard time picking a potential husband. ABC just released photos of the 25 men vying for her love and affection on the next season of “The Bachelorette” … and they’re a good-looking bunch.

The show has been criticized for not having ethnically diverse casts in the past though — so is this season any exception?

Of the 25 guys, only one is black. There are also four contestants from other countries — including a race car driver from the Netherlands, a mushroom farmer from Colombia and a grain merchant from Brazil.

The show was recently sued by two black men who claimed both “The Bachelor” and “The Bachelorette” blocked contestants of color from starring roles.

At the time, Warner Horizon Television released a statement reading:

“We have had various participants of color throughout the series’ history, and the producers have been consistently – and publicly – vocal about seeking diverse candidates for both programs. As always, we continue to seek out participants of color for both ‘The Bachelor’ and ‘The Bachelorette.’”

The new season kicks off May 14.

Rock n’ roll icon and TV and radio pioneer Dick Clark died on Wednesday, April 18th of a heart attack in Santa Monica, California at age 82. The Associated Press reported that Clark’s death came a day after being admitted for an outpatient procedure. Clark, affectionately known as “America’s Oldest Teenager,” is survived by his wife Kari, and his three children Richard Augustus II, Duane, and Cindy. Memorial plans have yet to be announced.

WORLD’S SMALLEST PUPPY BORN IN CALIFORNIA

A puppy born in California at just four ounces is the world’s smallest puppy on record according to the World Records Academy. The Grace Foundation said the mother gave birth to five puppies two weeks ago and the runt of the litter was about the size of a business card. The puppy, named Beyonce, is still smaller than an iPhone.

MADONNA SAYS DEADMAU5 IS DEADWRONG

Madonna is claiming she was NOT promoting drug use at a concert in Florida despite allegations she used her stage time to glamorize the drug ecstasy.

Deadmau5 one of the most famous DJs in the world had attacked Madonna for asking the crowd at the Ultra Music Festival if anyone has “seen Molly”- Molly is a slang term for the active ingredient in ecstasy.

Now, Madge is lashing back with a pair of mouse ears.

The Material Girl posted a photo of herself in Mickey Mouse gear with the caption, “From one mouse to another I dont support drug use and I never have. I was referring to the song called “Have You Seen Molly” written by my friend Cedric Gervais who I almost worked with on my album.”

 Deadmau5 saw the tweet and replied … saying, “Fair enough, I was just voicing my concerns as I usually do.  Respect for clearing it up personally regardless, just be a little more aware of what you should represent at EDM events, and I’ll watch my mouth.”

Madge replied … “Communication is always best. You should have called me first, we could have cleared it up ‘privately.’ See you on the road.”

 JUSTIN BIEBER IS A RECKLESS, NO  GOOD PRANKSTER! ACCORDING TO TWO PEOPLE IN TEXAS

Two people are threatening legal action against the pop star claiming Bieber coaxed millions of people into harassing them over the phone.

In case you’re not one of Bieber’s nearly 19 MILLION followers the singer randomly Tweeted a phone number earlier this month with the caption, “Call me right now.” But the number was missing the final digit leading hordes of teen girls to guess what it might be. The tweet was later deleted, but the damage was done.

As a result, two people in Texas an older woman named Dilcie and a man named Kent claim their phones have been ringing off the hook non-stop and now, they’ve lawyered up to force Bieber to pay for his actions.

 Katy Perry’s new album “Teenage Dream: The Complete Confection” was released yesterday.  Katy has hidden a special golden ticket in one copy of the album, and the lucky fan who buys it wins a great prize.  In a video, Katy explains that the golden ticket holder will get to attend the premiere of her upcoming 3D concert film, “Katy Perry: Part of Me.”  But you just don’t get to see the movie: You also get to walk the red carpet, with Katy herself.

WOMAN SUES APPLE AFTER WALKING INTO GLASS DOOR

Apple wants to be cool and modern with its nifty glass front doors, says the indignant lawyer for an 83-year-old woman who was foiled by those very doors, “but they have to realize that the elderly generation are their customers, too.”  Evelyn Paswall broke her nose after failing to see the door at a Long Island Apple Store and walking right into it.  Now she’s suing for $1 million.  Apple has to “appreciate the danger that this high-tech modern architecture poses to some people,” her lawyer says.  Paswall also wants Apple to put warning marks on the glass doors so that similar situations can be avoided in the future.  There were white warning strips on the glass Friday, but they may not have been there in December when the incident occurred: “There were no markings on the glass or they were inadequate,” Paswall’s lawyer says.  “My client is an octogenarian.  She sees well, but she did not see any glass.”

HAPPY TEENAGERS WILL EARN MORE AS ADULTS

Money may not buy you happiness, but having a happy childhood can make you lots of money.  A study has found that children with a sunny disposition go on to earn more as adults, even if their parents were not educated or high earners.  And within the same family, it is the happiest siblings who tend to earn the most.  It will come as no surprise to self-made billionaire Sir Richard Branson, who has  said in the past he was “extremely lucky” to have had such a happy childhood with  “wonderful, understanding” parents.  The study examined the happiness levels of 90,000 children and young adults in the U.S., and compared the data to their levels of income as adults.  Even when other factors were taken into account, the economists carrying out the study found that happiness levels when young clearly determined higher earnings in later life.

JIMMY KIMMEL TO HOST 2012 EMMY AWARDS

Jimmy Kimmel will make his debut as host of the 64th Primetime Emmy Awards ceremony in September.  The 2012 Emmys will air live on Kimmel’s home network, ABC, on Sept. 23.  Kimmel himself took home a “Best Game Show Host” Emmy in 1999 as co-host of Comedy Central’s long-running game show Win Ben Stein’s Money.

WILL “SNOOKI” AND “THE SITUATION” LOSE SCREEN TIME TO NEW STARS?

The entire Jersey Shore cast is locked in for a sixth season of the MTV series, which will begin production this summer.  But are Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi and Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino on their way out?  TMZ reports Jersey Shore producer 495 Productions wants to cut down “Snooki” and “Sitch’s” screen time in order to showcase new, not-yet-hired cast members.  Reportedly, 495 Productions is concerned that the show won’t be quite as crazy if the pregnant “Snooki” and the rehabbing “Sitch” have major roles.

JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE GETS CARDED

Justin Timberlake is probably thrilled to know that despite the fact that he hit 30 last year, he can still pass for under 21.  When JT and friends showed up at the Atlanta restaurant Cypress Street Pint and Plate last Thursday, he was carded.  The restaurant has a policy of asking every patron for I.D., and at first, server Michelle Boyd didn’t recognize the singer.  But since Justin did have I.D., he received his drink — a Crown and Sprite — right away.  He wasn’t insulted either  he and his group were one of the last to leave the place.

JUSTIN BIEBER TO CO-HOST WANGO TANGO

Justin Bieber will co-host the upcoming Wango Tango 2012 pop festival in Carson, California.  The singer will join Ryan Seacrest to front the event at the Home Depot Center on May 12.  Nicki Minaj, Pitbull, Maroon 5, B.o.B, J. Cole, Gym Class Heroes, Foster The People, Big Sean and The Wanted are among the big names lined up for the show.

ADAM LEVINE HAS A POTTY MOUTH

Adam Levine of Maroon 5, is trying to clean up his foul mouth. Adam says that during his coaching duties on The Voice, he might have to start a swear jar so that he can get his vernacular in check. Adam told People, that he thinks it will be a really effective.

Adam said, “I have a dirty mouth. I curse a lot and I want to try to contain that a little bit. I’ll have a little curse jar next to me. Every time we say a bad word, $100 goes to charity. It will help us, it really will. Because we’ll end up giving a lot!”

Meanwhile, Maroon 5′s upcoming album, Overexposed, will be released on June 26. Guitarist James Valentine says that this will be the most pop record ever.

 
LADY GAGA PROMOTES HER EX

Lady Gaga had fans wondering if her Facebook had been hacked over the weekend after she posted a supporting endorsement of her ex-boyfriend, Luc Carl’s, book – The Drunk Diet. Fans were additionally upset because they didn’t understand why Gaga was promoting alcohol at all, considering she has both a young and old fan base.

Meanwhile, Lady Gaga won outstanding music artists for her 2011 album, Born This Way, at the GLAAD Awards.

FALLING ASLEEP IN CLASS COULD HELP YOU LEARN?

It turns out that falling asleep in class may not be such a bad idea after all, as a new study has shown that going to sleep shortly after learning new material is the best way to remember it. According to lead author Jessica Payne, nodding off after learning something new is like ‘telling’ the sleeping brain what to retain. Participants were randomly assigned to study declarative, semantically related or unrelated word pairs at 9am or 9pm, and returned for testing 30 minutes, 12 hours or 24 hours later. At the 12-hour retest, memory overall was superior following a night of sleep compared to a day of wakefulness. At the 24-hour retest, with all subjects having received both a full night of sleep and a full day of wakefulness, subjects’ memories were superior when sleep occurred shortly after learning, rather than following a full day of wakefulness.

MADONNA DEFENDS NEW VIDEO AFTER YOUTUBE RESTRICTION

Madonna has brushed off the controversy surrounding the raunchy video for her latest single “Girl Gone Wild” after YouTube bosses slapped it with a viewing age restriction, insisting: “How could you go wild and not grind?”  The singer’s new video includes nudity and a man rubbing his crotch, and bosses at the video sharing site restricted the clip, only making it available for those aged 18 or above.  A representative for YouTube told the New York Post, “We review all videos flagged by our users against our community guidelines.  In some cases we age restrict flagged material that, while not in violation of those guidelines, contains images that may be unsuitable for younger users.”  Madonna’s management have reportedly been asked to re-cut the video so YouTube can screen the video for all of its users, and the singer’s publicist, Liz Rosenberg, insists it’s nothing they haven’t dealt with before.  She says, “Some things never change.  This is a throwback to when MTV refused to show Justify My Love (in 1990).”  Now Madonna herself has addressed the controversy in a new interview with talk show host Jimmy Fallon.  In the chat, which aired live on Facebook on Saturday night, she says, “I’m supposed to be a girl gone wild in the video!  How could you go wild and not grind?  This is the question that people should be asking.”

FERGIE MAKING TIME FOR BABY?

Fergie and the Black Eyed Peas are on a hiatus and Fergie couldn’t be happier. Fergie is reportedly no longer in the running for a judge spot on The X Factor. According To MTV, Fergie is keeping herself busy with shoe designing and her family.

She said, “I love being on break. I’m getting to do things I really didn’t have the capacity to do on tour. I get more structure at home, I get more time with family, with my husband, with my dogs. I’m still cleaning out my closet, getting to decorate my house, just nesting. I love it.”

Fergie has released her third fragrance line and is currently working on a shoe line.

NEW MAROON 5 ALBUM

Adam Levine has confirmed that there is a new Maroon 5 album coming sometime during the Summer. Adam told E!, that the group has been busy in the studio. He said, “It’s going really well. I’m a busy dude right now. But it’s fun and the record’s I think it’s our best ever, but of course I think that, ’cause it’s ours. Summer. Summer time. Am I allowed to say the title? No, no I can’t say it. It’s called something awesome.”

BRITNEY MAY SIGN ON FOR X FACTOR

Britney Spears may sign on to join the judging table at the X Factor for $15 million. According to RadarOnline.com, Britney is looking to start her duties on the X Factor but she needs approval from Judge Reva Goetz. Judge Goetz oversees Britney’s conservatorship and all transactions have to go through her. Reportedly, a formal announcement will be made within two weeks.

‘THE HUNGER GAMES’ BREAKS BOX OFFICE RECORDS

The Hunger Games exploded at the box office over the weekend, taking in $155 million making it the third biggest movie opening ever, after last year’s Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2, ($169 million) and the 2008 Batman movie The Dark Knight ($158 million).

The film easily beat all of the Twilight openings the biggest for that franchise was 2009′s New Moon which took in $142 on opening weekend.

It was also the biggest weekend non-sequel movie opening ever, besting Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland for that record. The movie was a hit with critics, averaging “86 Percent Fresh” on Rotten Tomatoes from critics and receiving a 95 percent audience approval rating.

The opening even exceeded the expectations of analysts, one of whom proclaimed the weekend, “The birth of a franchise.” The film is based on a trilogy of books by Suzanne Collins, which have sold 30 million copies worldwide.

FACEBOOK LETS YOU DEMOTE FRIENDS

Facebook has unveiled a new tool which lets you demote ‘friends’ to just being ‘acquaintances’. The tool actually suggests friends who might be good candidates based on people who you haven’t messaged or interacted with for a while. Once a friend has been ‘demoted’, you see fewer of their posts in your news feed – but they’ll never know of their new, lower status. The ‘acquaintances’ list has been around since last year – but the new tool makes it easier to demote friends, by suggesting them to you.

Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel really are engaged — and now there’s a ring to prove it! Justin and Jessica had lunch at Brentwood eatery Tavern on Thursday (March and Jessica was proudly showing off her rock. The couple enjoyed lunch with another couple and their toddler and reportedly everyone looked as happy as could be.

According to People, Biel’s ring features a large, slightly rounded square-cut diamond with smaller stones surrounding it, it reportedly has a slight vintage feel to it.
