We will always love YOU:)

February 21st, 2012 by adele.newton

Hey YOU!!!
Hope you are well!! Had a great time with the family in Arizona (thanks for all your emails) Like many of you my heart dropped when I heard about the death of Whitney Houston. I watched the funeral on Saturday and I am still in shock over her death. What really got me is when Kevin Costner talked about how she was always second guessing herself.  He talked about while filming the Body Guard she wondered if people would accept her as an actress. I don’t understand how such a beautiful and talented women could feel so insecure. It just goes to show you that money cannot buy you the most important thing in life……BELIEF IN YOURSELF!!!! Like you I will miss her but now I am praying for her daughter and family. If you missed the funeral click this link . We will always LOVE YOU WHITNEY!!!

Eat Right Ontario – Eating on the GO!!!

February 8th, 2012 by adele.newton

Being a working mom I know how crazy life gets. I have to be honest one of my biggest challenges is planning healthy family meals. And eating on the go can be very difficult. There just does not seem to be a lot of healthy options out there and even if it looks healthy the sodium levels are usually through the roof. We all need some sodium (the main ingredient in salt), but most of us consume more than double the amount we need. Over 75 percent of the sodium we eat comes from packaged, ready-to-eat foods, fast foods and restaurant foods. Too much sodium can lead to high blood pressure, stroke, heart disease and kidney disease.

EatRight Ontario

Want an easy way to cut out the sodium? Call EatRight Ontario at 1-877-510-510-2 and speak with a Registered Dietitian for free! Ask for their free factsheet that tells you how much sodium you need, which foods to limit, and ways to replace salt with new flavours.

I have been using this meal planning tool……….Here is the link……give it a try.  It’s working for me.

Madonna is BACK/Eat Right Ontario!!! Love this site :)

Madonna’s lead single, “Give Me All Your Luvin’” off her upcoming album M.D.N.A will be released on February 3 — just days before her performance at the Super Bowl. The single, featuring Nicki Minaj and M.I.A is the first single off Madonna’s upcoming studio album.

Madonna said, “I’ve made a huge effort to try and not sound like everybody else on MDNA. I feel like all the records on the radio right now have a homogenized quality to them. I’ve made a huge effort to try and not sound like everybody else. The music that I’ve done with William Orbit is quite introspective, whereas Martin Solveig’s is more ironic and funny and upbeat. There’s a really up aspect to it and a really fun aspect to it. I don’t like to repeat myself.”

The video for “Gimme All Your Luvin’” is reportedly football and cheerleader themed and a teaser will be released on Thursday, February 2 during American Idol. M.D.N.A will be released on March 26.

TOILET PAPER PERSONALITY

The way you hang your toilet paper says a lot about your personality, according to studies.  People who install their toilet paper so that the tissue comes out from behind and under the roll tend to be sexually promiscuous, devious, and untrustworthy.  Many “rock and roll” musicians, for example, practice the “under” method as part of their dark, salacious lifestyles.

People who set up their toilet paper so that the tissue comes over the top are much more likely to be aggressive, insensitive power-mongerers.  Examples of such personalities include Napoleon, an early proponent of rolled paper in France, well before its “official” invention some sixty or seventy years later.  Former President Richard Nixon is alleged to have also fallen into this camp.

The most balanced people are those who forgo the entire toilet paper convention and refuse to participate within a system that says “put your toilet paper on a roll bar.”  Simply placing a roll on its side is much more likely to evidence even-temperedness, balanced personality, and free-thinkingness, although some preliminary evidence also suggests fickleness, lack of commitment, and weakness of personality.
