Meet Wenlock and Mandeville. They are the new mascots for the 2012 London Olympic Games. They’re neither animal, vegetable nor mineral. What are they exactly? Apparently they were “fashioned from droplets of the steel used to build the Olympic stadium.” Regardless, they certainly are, um, unique aren’t they?

First off, let me say it’s obvious that these are very talented little girls. The problem is, they are little girls! This dance routine has gone viral on the internet. The girls are apparently as young as 8. I’ll admit, it makes me uncomfortable to watch this. Do you think girls this age should be learning dance moves like this? What about the outfits? The parents say this is taken out of context, and everything is appropriate for that particular dance competition. The girls themselves say they don’t have any problem with the routine. What do you think?
